BUYING BIKES ONLINE
We can’t ship bikes across Canada or to the USA. This is mainly to uphold local bike shop competitiveness. It is also very complicated to take a bike apart and put it back into the box it came in, this can lead to damages if the package is mishandled during shipping.
You can buy a bike online and pick it up in the store! This will make sure that you will be guaranteed a bike when you come in.
During 2020 the demand for bikes was very high and we would say to people “if you see something you love, don’t wait and think. Buy the bike”. We don’t know what the future will hold, but we hope that this service will make sure you are getting the bike you want when it is in stock.
SHIPPING (Canada & Continental U.S.)
All orders are shipped ground via Canpar or Canada Post. All Canadian orders are subject to a $15.00 shipping charge. Shipments to Continental U.S. are subject to a $35.00 shipping charge. Local purchases totalling over $100 (before taxes) may qualify for free shipping after review. Some items may not qualify for free shipping or may be subject to additional shipping and handling charges due to size or weight.
Note: Orders usually ship one to three business days after being placed.
Most orders will be ready within one business day. Please keep in mind that items listed as "Available for special order" will require additional processing time to transfer from off-site locations. Other items may require additional processing time for assembly. We will call or email you once your order is ready for pickup. If you need an item right away we ask that you call us to confirm that the product is available before heading over to our store. Unless special arrangements are made in advance, orders need to be picked up within 15 days or a 10% restocking fee will be charged.
PARKING LOT PICK-UP
Most orders for in-stock items will be ready within one business day. We will call or email you once your order is ready for pickup. At that time, please advise our staff when you expect to pick up your order. On arrival at our store, please call 204-669-5590 and we will bring your order out to you.
DELIVERY IN THE CITY OF WINNIPEG
If you live in the City of Winnipeg and require delivery, please leave a note on your order and you will be contacted via phone or email to make arrangements for your order to be dropped off. With the exception of items that fit into your mailbox, delivery must be arranged at a time when you are home (orders will not be left on your door steps).
Occasionally, some items are unexpectedly out of stock or unavailable and may be backordered. If this should occur, we will only bill your credit card for merchandise that is actually shipped. The total shipping charge for orders split into multiple shipments will not exceed the amount quoted on the original order.
If there’s a problem with something you purchased from us, you can either bring it to our store or ship it back. Ship returns via Ground UPS or insured US Mail (we do not accept CODs). We will refund shipping costs on damaged or incorrect merchandise.
Returns over $100 must have a return authorization number clearly marked on the outside of the package or the item will be refused. A return authorization number can be obtained by phone or email.
A restocking fee may be applied in specific cases we deem necessary to do so in. This can include, but is not limited to;
- Items sold on
- clearance or with a reduced price
- Packages such as custom bike builds or ski packages
- Special orders
- Items sold as used
- Items that were sold as new but returned with visible use
(Labour fees are not refundable, i.e., custom built wheels.)
